On the second final paper I revised everything compared to the draft because of how the thesis and theme were. I’m the daft. All I had was explanations and some examples to prove my paper while in the final paper I rewrote the whole paper again and talked about two stories I know the best, which is helping me to better explain what is going on. In the final paper I gave examples and explained what they mean, talked about how the larger community of immigrants is a problem for the main characters which are David from “Call it sleep” and Shirley from “The loudest voice”, both of them have a connection which is better in my terms because of the thesis statement. In the final paper it talks about the situation they got into, which is the parents moving to New York. Both characters have to adjust to the new setting, learning the language, religion and what the country celebrates. David tries to make new friends and learns what their religion is from his friend, the whole environment is so different for him. Shirley tries to do the play which is a Christmas theme but her mom isn’t too happy about it while her dad is and she goes with it. Overall my whole apparel changed due to the final draft because of the comments of what I can build on and know if the stories I pick are a strong point, the feedback is very helpful, it was a easier process for me.
