1.     What does “reflection” or “reflective writing” mean?

     Reflective writing means to revolve anything of your ideas. Having a dropper critically analyzing experience, helps you have a better connection with your thoughts about the subject you’re gonna write about. 

2.     What does “reflective writing” mean in the context of a writing class?

   Reflective writing in the context of a writing class leads to a more specific reflective thought. It could be any of the subjects they assigned you like for example us in class. 

3.      What is a “process note?”

   A process note is the breakdown of a description which is led with the process of one working on an essay. The  process that one has while brainstorming ideas.

4.     What is a “Letter to the Reader” for?  What should be included in this letter?

   The letter to the reader is a way of suggesting and developing your intention and purpose of an essay, which is a part of the writing process. There are two things that should be included, intentions, and purpose and what it’s meant to do for the readers as well who the readers are, the description of your writing process ” how did you narrow the assigned topic? What you’re planning and what you make to change it.

 5.     In Giles’ article, what are some problems in the sample “Letter to the Reader?”

  Some of the problems that the writer is facing is that she doesn’t seem to know what the essay is gonna be about. It’s not clear and specific about the problems she has in the essay.

6.     What did you think about the section “How it helps me (the instructor) help you?”

   I feel like I am a student, I believe it just creates more work for us but won’t help the teacher just makes more of us do more work. It provides a section of how it says how many of the students really don’t understand it. 

7.     Name a time/s you used “reflective thinking” when doing some project or job (like Giles’ painting example)?

  Well in high school my last year had to reflect on a book we all read about. Helped me get out more ideas and learned from different perspectives.
